How Medication And Vertigo Are Linked

Primarily I thought it was an earthquake as everything around me was moving. Later I found it was only me who was experiencing this movement. Lastly I remember I was lying in my stomach on the ground to make everything still around me.

A vertigo patient shared her experience on how it felt when she suffered from the spells of attack. She was having these attacks for a couple of months.

This problem was diagnosed as vertigo. Those suffering from it feel that other person or objects around them are in a moving state. It is more or less like dizziness.

Doctors term it as a symptom rather than a disease. Problems in the structure of ears lead to this problem.

Most common peripheral disorder is termed as benign paroxysmal positional vertigo. In this one gets vomiting, nausea, perspiration, impaired cognitive abilities, hearing loss with no warning.

The other type of peripheral disorder is Mires syndrome. In this rare disorder a person can become total deaf or nearly deaf. The symptoms are same to the other common peripheral disorder; the only difference is that the patient may have a “full” feeling in his or her ear at the onset of the problem.

One more notable thing about vertigo is that, symptoms vary over the course of day or even hours. Mostly, vertigo patients have to lie down for hours to get some relief from this.

At first my client went for some medication for these symptoms. The saddest part was that, the problem was not cured but other hosts of problem started as side effect of the medications meant for curing vertigo.

But the most shocking fact came to light when, during her regular blood pressure check up, the nurse remarked that the medication she was prescribed is known to show vertigo as a side effect. That led to her thinking about her problems regarding vertigo and she surmised that it started from the time she started her medication for hypertension.

She was just out of her mind as nothing had been discussed about this side effect while she started the medication for hypertension. Neither was it pursued while she went for her vertigo treatments.

You will be surprised to know that drugs available over the counter for treating flu and cold can cause temporary or chronic vertigo. Even prescribed drugs as well as antibiotics and anticonvulsants are responsible for this side effect.

This case may lead you to take a harsh view on the doctor but remember that medication that is used for treating hypertension is considered as traditional treatment.

Fed up with medication, this client of mine came to me for some natural treatment regarding these two problems. Over the time under my program she discontinued her medication and also experienced no vertigo symptoms. I am happy to report that she has not only stopped the vertigo attacks, but her blood pressure is under control as well. So no matter what kind of vertigo or dizziness problem you have, come to me. One or another program of mine will surely help you. EIN: EL331005
