Light emitting diode bulbs or LED bulbs are most known for lighting up the numbers on a digital alarm clock or the timer or digital temperature gauge on the microwave or stove. They can be used for lighting up the environment as well. Electrons are used to create the light instead of burning a filament as in a traditional incandescent bulb. LED lights never become too hot to handle.

For those who need high bay lighting, LED is surely a great alternative compared to the traditional ones. As more and more people nowadays become more aware of the dangers of carbon emissions and the greenhouse effect, LED has played a fairly good game in the lighting industry. From televisions to your home lights, there is no surprise as to why you should not consider using LED with high ceilings.

High bay lights are those which are used in places with very high ceilings. You typically see them in warehouses, gymnasiums and even hangars. They are commonly used indoor, with ceilings of over 15 feet. These lights, as you see, are definitely not easy to replace.

Samsung” today announced the launch of Samsung Blue Earth, an environmentally friendly mobile phone with a full touch screen. First showcased at the Mobile World Congress 2009 in Barcelona, Blue Earth is made from Post Consumer Material (PCM), which is extracted from water bottles, helping to reduce fuel consumption and carbon emissions during the manufacturing process. The device, including the charger, is free from harmful substances such as Brominated Flame Retardants (BFR), Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) and Phthalate. Samsung Blue Earth is launching in Sweden in October and will soon launch in France, Germany, Austria, Italy, Portugal and other European and Asian countries.

So finally we have been graced with the presence of the Nokia N920, the awesome successor of N900. Many people are of the view that the set will be a touch-only device with an extremely large 4.13-inch capacitive screen, ARM Cortex A8 CPU, 32GB internal memory and Maemo 6 OS. But we can’t just give way to the rumours only, it’s the real thing that we will have to wait for and then decide for ourselves.
